For example, betting chips with built-in microcircuitry connect to a computer system to oversee the exact amounts of money bet minute by minute; roulette wheels are electronically monitored regularly to discover any statistical deviation from their expected values. Many casinos employ expert gaming mathematicians and programmers to analyze game data and determine optimal strategy.
