Each player is given seven cards. The player to the dealer’s left is the first to act. Each player is dealt a card face up in rotation.<\/p>\n

If all players check, play proceeds to the next round. If all players raise, a showdown occurs. The player with the best hand wins the showdown and takes all of the bets.<\/p>\n
A player may bluff by raising a bet that is larger than the previous bettor’s. This strategy is used to convince other players that their hand is better. A player can also fold, if they do not think they can beat their opponents.<\/p>\n
A player can also sandbag, which is the opposite of bluffing. In sandbagging, a player builds a pot by making bets on the river. If another player makes a raise, the player who sandbagged must match the bet.<\/p>\n
